Graduation Day

What do you remember about Graduation Day?
I remember sobbing during graduation, hee...and all the songs like "Friends", "If We Hold On Together"......

Graduation is such a happy yet emotional moment...

Graduation not only marks the end of a stage in your life but also marks a new beginning. It means you have successfully completed your studies and you can continue to receive higher education. It also means you will leave your friends and teachers and move on to another place to meet more friends and teachers. It's a moment when you are happy and excited to move on to the next stage yet you will be sad to leave your Alma mater.

Today is the graduation day for the 3rd grade students. The ceremony was almost the same as our prize giving day, but I thought it was more solemn and many parents came. Every students went up the stage to receive their certificate from the Principal and they were each given a rose to present to their parents. I think it's really a nice way to appreciate the parents.

Looking at them reminded me of my graduations. I can sense their excitement of going to University, especially when most of them will be moving out and staying far from home. It's so different from Singapore. Singapore is so small that staying in the hostel is still so near home. Wishing them all the best and I hope some of them whom I'm close to will keep in contact with me.
