A Great Weekend...Kimono Appreciation and Good Food...

Kimono Appreciation and Good Food...
16 April 2011 to 17 April 2011

Over the weekend, I went with my friends to Kitsuki. There is a Kimono Appreciation activity going on in Kitsuki. We rented kimono for 2000 yen, the people there will hekp us to put on the kimonos and we can go around the town taking pictures. It was fun, but tiring. Walking around with the Kimono is not an easy task. If there is nobody around, I would lift up the kimono and walk normally. I wonder how the olden days Japanese survive working in a kimono. hmmm...

Fish head curry
For dinner, we headed off to Bungo Takada for curry fish head. You didn't read wrongly, it's curry fish head, and it's high class curry fish head. The ambience was cosy, the dishes were served in nice intricate plates in small portions. Nice experience and the curry was not bad. But I miss the real big curry fish head back home.
Rice and samosa

WAWA!

After dinner. I stayed over at my friend's place cos I was going to meet a teacher who had just transferred to Usa (not United States) the next day. I watched Marley and Me with my friend, actually I watched it myself, cos she fell asleep after a while. It was a good show and I missed Wawa after watching it. I always say Wawa is the stupiest dog in the world, just like how John Grogan always says that Marley is the World's Worst Dog. In the end, John told Marley not to believe what he said, I too want to tell Wawa that too. Wawa is a wonderful dog and I love him!

The next day, I met up with Miho sensei. I had a great time catching up with her over lunch.

Another great weekend! :)
