I was suppose to blog about my weekend hanami in Fukuoka and Saiki yesterday, but... my laptop had a virus attack!!! Sent me into a frantic mode... It couldn't work and kept telling me that there are many many virus in the laptop!!! Gosh... and I have to plan for lesson which is to be conducted on Thursday. What am I to do?! I tried restarting and it didnt work, so I off it and asked my neighbour where I can get it fixed, planning to go after work.
Before I left school, I decided to try again. This time, I managed to get online. Phew... at least something is working. I managed to get my "techinical support" in Singapore, but his boss always wants to talk to him when I am talking to him. hah... I rushed down to the repair shop and guess what, the guys there were really helpful and friendly, but they couldn't understand my EL educated laptop and I can't understand them. They had to resort to translation using HP ("Why I can help you?" which I decoded as "How can I help you?"). In the end, using my broken Japanese, I told them," Ashita (tomorrow), bring Japanese tomodachi (friend) come." That's for not studying Japanese!
After I got home, I tried surfing the net for more information and resume my conversation with my "techinical support". Tried updating my Norton, but it was useless. In the end, I tried the method written on one website, but it didn't work too. More researching and downloading of some other virus killers before everything was resolved.
I FINALLY killed that irritating MS Tool Removal virus!
(Weekend Hanami entry will have to wait till I finish planning my lesson.)
