After returning from my weekend trip, I was told that we will be changing our seating arrangement in the staff room. The teachers in my school sit according to the level they teach, so every new start of the school year in April, they will change the sitting arrangement. Well... My 1st thought was: ok, I dont have much things to pack, I just need to move my things to the new desk. BUT... That's not the case in my school. We are going to shift the whole table!!! You move with your table and chair... According to a teacher, it was because some teachers would want to have the same desk and same chair. That's a massive shift. The male teachers helped to carry the tables, while the female teachers helped to vacuum. I must say that they were rather efficient, we were done in no time.

In Singapore, my school does not change sitting arrangement. If the teachers were to be told that they will be changing seats, I think we will kick up a BIG fuss about it and complains and unhappiness will be in the air for a long long time (我们超记仇的!) I wouldnt like to change my sitting arrangement as well in Singapore, would rather sit wilth friends (not only colleagues, but friends). BUT, one of the best thing about changing sitting arrangement is that we get to clean up our desk and not have rubbish piled up!
U want to sit with me, right??? hahahaha!
