Today we had prefectural meeting in Oita City. There was also the briefing for returning JETS, which kind of "tell" me that I am going to leave Japan soon and return home. I have mix feelings about it. I like my life in Japan, it's really different and I get lots of freedom here. I get to experience lots of things, travel around, enjoy the nature, enjoy life...... At the same time, going home is great! My family and friends are all there. I miss the food as well. I miss my students in Singapore, but I definitely don't miss the hectic lifestyle. I guess I can only make full use of my limited time here and return home with lots of precious memories.
I made 2 new friends today. They are a young married couple. The guy is an ALT from America (David), while his wife (Min Young) is from Korea and she's pregnant. I really like MY. It's amazing how you can leave your own country and move to a totally new place with your loved one. It's tough for her, esp now that she is pregnant. I admire her for her courage. I hope to meet that someone who will make me a courageous person too :) hmmm...
i wish the same for you my dear friend..never stop searching! i have mixed feelings even b4 i set off, not to mention lotsa problems to be solved first..
