Lovely Day

Today I had no lesson at all and I thought it will definitely be a boring day... Arghh... Well, so I went well-equipped with my laptop (so I can surf the net) and a book to read. Before lunch, I decided that I should plan my lesson that will be used 2 weeks later. Took me a while to do that and I'm not done yet. I chatted with some students in between lessons. My Japanese Sensei came to talk to me and to give me homework for the weekend, and the conversation went on to the food I cooked, and more people joined in the conversation, including my Kyoto Sensei (VP). I showed him pictures of my fried rice and he said it is "roughly" made, I should cut the ingredients smaller, and he tried to use gestures to teach me. hah... What a poor cook I am! It was a fun conversation with the him and the rest of the sensei and time passes faster than I thought. Kyoto Sensei even bought me buns as present (buns made by Tsuruoka's students which is the other school that I go to).

On my way home in the drizzle, I have decided that I am NOT going to cook today. BUT, my landlady came knocking on my door and offered me ingredients to cook fried noodles. She even cut all the ingredients and pass them to me and taught me step by step how to cook it. So, I ended up cooking again. Hee.. I'm glad I did, cos it's too wet to go out to get food anyway.
