Before lunch, all English teachers had to attend a lesson study at a Junior High School in Yayoi. One of the sensei says that there is a very oishi udon place near the school we are going and he asked Kyoto sensei (VP) about having lunch there, but Kyoto sensei says cannot. BUT... we decided that we can still have a very quick lunch. hee.. SO... on the way to the school, we stopped by the udon restaurant and pre-ordered our cold udon, telling the owner that we will be back by 1240pm and ask them to prepare the udon for us. Straight after observing the lessons, we bid farewell to the Kyoto sensei and 3 other teachers who came in a different car and rushed down to have our secret lunch. The udon is delicious!!! I guess doing it secretly and having it with the teachers brought more taste to the udon... haha.. On the way back to school, we passed by "Charlie Brown" (a cake shop) and according to the teachers again, they have delicious banana and pumpkin pies, SO... there's always room for dessert, We stopped over and one of the sensei rushed down to get the pies for us. Indeed, the banana pie is delicious and I'm going down again to get the pumpkin pie another day!
