This week lesson with my 1st grade students is about festivals. I introduced some Singapore festivals to them, while they will write about one Japan festival. As usual, some classes were extremely quiet, no reponse, (even when I showed them the lion dance video clip), while some classes were extremely excited (which I prefer). However, I did have ulterior motive when I designed this lesson. I wanted to know what are the festivals in Japan, and see if I can attend any festivals while I am still in Japan. (Hee...)
It was a peaceful week and Wed I had a good drumming session. (I always feel so lazy to go for drumming, but everytime I go there, I enjoyed the session...hmmm...) Tomorrow is a holiday! Yeah! I am skipping Jazzercise to go skiing. It will be my first ski trip and I will be going to Hiroshima!!! Can't wait....
